As I grow older, my metabolism has slowed down, and I’m now consistently hovering in the low 170’s.
While looking up my old Tai Chi teacher, who is now a licensed acupuncturist, I found this blog post on losing weight via fruit. It’s quite good and worth a read.
In the blog post, there is link to this article about lower BMI recommendations for Asians to avoid diabetes.
Well, it looks like I need to drop about 25 pounds.
I guess I’ll try to do it as slowly as I started.
The first order of business is to figure out to eat better (and less) at work.
And then after that maybe I do need to be like my old teacher, set a hard limit and skip dinner if I’m over that number. At least I won’t have food coma in the evenings!
